Where We Work
Where we go, and what the price gets you
Southern New Hampshire
From the Massachusetts border up to the Lakes Region, out to the Seacoast, and west as far as Keene. Manchester, Nashua, Concord, Hooksett, Salem, Derry, Rochester, Dover, Portsmouth and Laconia are all routine runs.
Eastern Massachusetts
From the New Hampshire line down through the Merrimack Valley and MetroWest to Framingham and Boston. We do not go south of the Mass Pike.
What the price includes
- Two or three of us, in uniform, doing all of the lifting and carrying
- Removal from anywhere on the property, not just the curb
- Sorting at no extra charge, which most companies bill for
- A two-hour arrival window and a courtesy call 20 minutes out
- The space swept clean, and inspected with you before we go
- Disposal, recycling and donation, all of it included in the quoted price
Single items start at $35, $40 comes off any job above that, and we beat any written quote. Every week one customer's completed job is drawn and refunded in full.

Why people pick us over a franchise
Every junk removal company says it is fast, fair and friendly. Here is the part you can actually check before you book anyone.
Priced on the job, not on the truck
The franchises quote you a fraction of a truck: a quarter load, a half load. Light items cost the same as bricks, so a light load overpays with them. We price on what we estimate the load weighs, how long the job takes and how hard it is to get to. It is why we usually land about 30% under them.
The largest trucks in New England, so fewer trips
We use the largest trucks in New England: three of a competitor's trucks fit inside one of our 20-foot boxes. That is fewer runs to the dump on the same job, which costs us less, and the saving comes off your price instead of staying with us. Our crews are trained personnel who watch your corners, your carpets and your floors on the way out, and we work through all weather.
Discounts on what we can recycle, donate or resell
Items we can resell earn you a cash discount, and we pay no disposal fee on anything we can donate, so those items cost you nothing to get rid of. The crew tells you on site what qualifies.
We estimate the weight up front, and the number does not move
You get the price before anyone picks anything up, and that is the price. We never put the load on a scale afterwards and bill you for what it read. No revision once the truck is half full, no disposal surcharge, no add-on for stairs we could already see.
We beat any written quote
Bring us something in writing from anyone else and we will beat it. Not match it.
Employees, background-checked and uniformed
The crew is ours. They are trained, they are insured under our policy, and they are the same people who worked your street last week.
Licensed, insured, and able to prove it
US DOT 2420455, BBB accredited, and a current certificate of insurance we send to your building or HOA on request.
The Honest Comparison
Us and the national franchises
Not a knock on their crews, who are mostly fine. The difference is structural, and it is worth understanding before you pay for a quarter of a truck.
| The national franchises | ![]() | |
|---|---|---|
| How the price is set | By how much of the truck you fill, so light items cost what bricks cost | By the weight we estimate up front, time on site, difficulty and access |
| When the price is fixed | Adjusted once the crew sees the load | Confirmed on site before work starts, and it does not change after that |
| Truck size | Smaller trucks, so more trips to the dump on the same job | Three of theirs fit in one of ours, so fewer trips and a lower cost |
| Who owns the branch | A franchise conglomerate, with its fees built into your price | Steve, who is often the one quoting it |
| Where the load goes | Usually straight to the transfer station | Metal to scrap, usable goods donated, landfill last, and the saving comes off your price |
Where It Goes
The landfill is the last stop
Metal is pulled out and scrapped. Electronics go through proper recycling. Cardboard and paper come out of the waste stream, and anything still usable gets donated rather than buried. It is not always possible, but it is always the first thing we try.
Follow a load from your curb →- 1M+ lbs
- Scrap metal recycled in 2025
- Up to 85%
- Of each load donated or recycled

Great experience every time we use Trash Can Willy's. The guys showed up on time and were very polite and personable. They managed to pack 30 years of junk into one truck with no room to spare!

FAQ
Junk removal questions, answered
How much does junk removal cost?
Single items start at $35 and most full loads run well below the big franchises, about 30% less on average. Every job gets a fair upfront price before we touch anything, and we beat any written quote.
How soon can you come?
Same-day is often possible depending on where the trucks already are, and otherwise it is next day. Call or text and we will tell you what is open before you commit to anything. We run Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5 and Saturday 8 to 4. We are closed Sunday.
What do you take?
If two or three strong guys can lift it and it fits in a box truck, we take it: furniture, appliances, hot tubs, sheds, construction debris, whole basements. We can't take hazardous waste like paint, oil or chemicals.
What happens to my stuff?
Most of it gets a second life. Usable goods are donated, a lot of it to the Epilepsy Foundation, Goodwill, the Salvation Army and local soup kitchens, metals and electronics get recycled, and only the true junk goes to the transfer station. A portion of every job we do goes to the Wounded Warriors Family Support Fund.
How many people show up?
Two or three, depending on the size of the job. You point at what is going and the crew does the lifting, the stairs and the loading. Nobody expects you to drag it to the curb first.
Do I need to be home?
Nope. Point us at the pile by phone or photo, and as long as we can reach it, we can haul it and send you the after photos.
How does the $40 off coupon work?
Mention the coupon when you book any job and we take $40 off the quoted price. One per job.
