Why Us
Why Use Trash Can Willy's in Framingham
We are based in this city, so a job in Nobscot and a job down at the Natick line are both short trips for us. Here is what people here call us for.
No job is too big or too small
Garage full? Basement getting scary? Remodeling debris piling up? Point, relax, we haul. Garage and basement cleanouts, apartment turnovers, renovation debris, office cleanouts, storage unit clear-outs and estate cleanouts are an ordinary week for the Framingham crews.
Our Massachusetts office is in this city
Our Massachusetts office is here in Framingham, so a job up in Nobscot and a job down at the Natick line are both short trips. We are veteran-owned, licensed and insured, and 17+ years in business. Call or text 603-490-2177.
We take the renovation debris and the bigger buildings
The city collects from buildings of one to four dwelling units plus approved condominiums, and the drop-off permit is sold only to residents who already have that curbside service. Live in a bigger building and you have neither, and the city's own answer for renovation debris is to call a private hauler. One call to us covers all of it.
Bigger trucks, fewer trips, better value
We use the largest trucks in New England: fewer trips, better value, and we pass the saving on. Two or three of us come depending on the size of the job, trained personnel who watch your corners, your carpets and your floors, and we sweep when we are done. You get a two-hour arrival window and a call about 20 minutes before we pull up. Up to 85% of what we haul is recycled or donated, with the metals, electronics and cardboard recycled and the usable things passed on.
Property managers, landlords, agents and contractors
Commercial work is a steady part of what we do here: office and retail cleanouts, apartment and condo turnovers, foreclosure and eviction clearances, construction debris, warehouses, storage units and property prep before a sale or a lease. We coordinate with site managers, work around the other trades and keep the job moving.
Priced on the work, not the air in the truck
Most junk removal companies charge by how much truck space you use. Bricks or feathers, packed tight or full of air, you can pay the same simply because it takes up the same space. We price the actual job: weight, labor, difficulty and access. And our trucks are huge. Three of many competitors' trucks can fit inside one of ours, which means fewer trips to unload, less time spent dumping and lower costs we can pass on to our customers. Your price is approved before anything moves and doesn't change afterward. Plus, we beat any written quote.
Local. Veteran-owned. No franchise fees.
Steve built Trash Can Willy's on the same principles he learned in the military: show up when we say we will, honor our quote, communicate clearly and leave your property better than we found it. We're local, not a franchise. No call centers, corporate runaround or franchise fees built into your price. We're BBB A+ Accredited, licensed and insured, and a portion of every job supports Wounded Warrior Family Support. Fair pricing. Great communication. No stress. Just a job done right.

Service Areas
The Framingham neighborhoods we cover
We cover the whole city, north end to south: downtown around Memorial Square, South Framingham below it, Coburnville off to the west, Framingham Centre on the common, Nobscot in the northwest corner, and Saxonville and Pinefield up on the Sudbury River. A job that straddles a town line is still one job.
The Framingham trucks run well past the city line. From here we cover Newton, Waltham, Weston, Wayland, Sudbury, Hudson, Ashland, Hopkinton, Needham, Brookline, Concord, Lincoln, Westborough, Northborough, Stow, Littleton and Boxborough. The Merrimack Valley and Essex County run out of our Lawrence office instead.
Zip codes we cover in Framingham: 01701 and 01702.

FAQ
Questions we get about junk removal in Framingham
How does the free quote work in Framingham?
You call or text 603-490-2177, or fill in the form, and we get back to you with a guesstimate. We ask what you have and where it is sitting, because a cellar and a driveway are two different jobs. That phone quote is our best guess. The crew confirms the exact price when they see the job, before any work starts, and once you approve it, it does not change.
What does a cleanout cost in Framingham?
It comes down to what the load weighs, the labor it takes and how hard it is to reach. Single items start at $35, and $40 comes off any job above that. A garage or one room is usually a small job. An apartment being turned over between tenants is more than that, and a whole house after decades is often more than one truck. We tell you which one you have before we start.
Can you work in the apartment buildings out on Route 9?
Yes, and we do a lot of it. We are fully licensed and insured, so if your building asks for paperwork before a crew carries anything through the lobby, tell us when you book.
I am renovating. Will you take the debris?
Yes, all of it. Old cabinetry, counters, tile, wall-to-wall carpet, plaster, decking and torn-out fixtures go on the truck, and we sort what can be recycled out of the load rather than sending the whole thing to one place. Tell us roughly what came out of the room and we will price it before we start. The only things we cannot take are the hazardous ones: wet paint and stain, gasoline, propane tanks, solvents, acids, antifreeze and motor oil.
How fast can you get to Framingham?
We are not driving in from another state: our Massachusetts office is right here in the city, so a job downtown, up in Nobscot or out on Route 9 toward the Southborough line is a short trip either way. Same-day or next-day is often possible.
How do you quote a job?
Call or text 603-490-2177 with a description or a few photos and we give you a price range on the spot. That phone quote is our best guess, not a binding number. When the crew arrives they look at the job and confirm the exact price before any work starts. Once you approve it, it does not change. For big jobs and full cleanouts we come out for a free on-site estimate, Monday to Friday 9 to 5.
Do you beat other quotes?
Yes. Bring us any written estimate from another company and we beat it by up to 10%. And every week we draw one customer's completed job and refund it in full, so keep your receipt.
Do I need to be home?
Not if we can get to the stuff. Plenty of jobs are booked by phone, hauled while you're at work, and closed out with photos and a card payment. If access is tight or you want to point at things yourself, be there and we'll walk it with you.
When will you actually show up?
You get a two-hour arrival window and a courtesy call about 20 minutes out, so you're not sitting around all day. Most single-item pickups are done inside an hour of the truck arriving.
What won't you take?
Hazardous waste is the short list: wet paint or stain, gasoline and other flammable liquids loose in cans or drums, propane tanks, solvents, acids, antifreeze, motor oil, asbestos and medical waste. A mower, generator or snow blower with fuel or oil still in it is fine: we drain it as part of the job. Fully dried latex paint is fine. Everything else, if two people can lift it and it fits in the truck, we take it.
How do I pay, and how does the $40 off work?
Credit, debit, cash, or estate, certified and business checks. No personal checks. You get an emailed receipt before the truck leaves. Mention the coupon when you book any job and we take $40 off the quoted price, one per job.
