Why Us

Why Use Trash Can Willy's in Natick

A cellar is a lot of trips if you do it yourself. We take the boxes, the exercise bike, the broken patio set and the carpet that came up with the new floor in one visit.

No job is too big or too small

One chest of drawers carried up out of a finished basement, or a full estate cleanout in South Natick. You name it, we take it. You point and we remove it from where it sits, so nothing has to be bagged, carried out or driven anywhere by you. We are licensed and insured.

We take what the town's bulky program will not

The town's bulky pickup will not take construction materials, canoes, fence sections, pianos, pool tables, swimming pools, tires or wooden swing sets, and it caps a request at five items anyway. That is most of what actually fills a garage, and a cellar is not five items. We take all of it on a date you pick, and the hard ones are what we are known for: pianos, hot tubs, sheds and cleanouts.

One visit, and nothing goes in your car

We use the largest trucks in New England, so a finished basement and the garage behind it leave in one visit. Two or three of us come depending on the size of the job, trained personnel who watch your corners, your carpets and your floors on the way out. You get a two-hour appointment window and a call when we are 20 minutes out. Up to 85% of what we haul is recycled or donated.

We get it up out of the basement and the bulkhead

A lot of the houses here are the colonials and ranches built by the postwar contractors, with a finished basement, one steep bulkhead and a stairwell that turns halfway down. Our crews know which pieces have to come apart before they come up, and they do the measuring before anything gets wedged in a doorway.

Priced on the work, not the air in the truck

Most junk removal companies charge by how much truck space you use. Bricks or feathers, packed tight or full of air, you can pay the same simply because it takes up the same space. We price the actual job: weight, labor, difficulty and access. And our trucks are huge. Three of many competitors' trucks can fit inside one of ours, which means fewer trips to unload, less time spent dumping and lower costs we can pass on to our customers. Your price is approved before anything moves and doesn't change afterward. Plus, we beat any written quote.

Local. Veteran-owned. No franchise fees.

Steve built Trash Can Willy's on the same principles he learned in the military: show up when we say we will, honor our quote, communicate clearly and leave your property better than we found it. We're local, not a franchise. No call centers, corporate runaround or franchise fees built into your price. We're BBB A+ Accredited, licensed and insured, and a portion of every job supports Wounded Warrior Family Support. Fair pricing. Great communication. No stress. Just a job done right.

The Natick neighborhoods we cover

We cover the whole town: Natick Center, Walnut Hill just north of downtown, Wethersfield north of Route 9, Sherwood and Little South, South Natick around the John Eliot Historic District, Felchville, and East and West Natick out to the Wellesley and Framingham lines. Natick is a regular run for us, not a special trip, and a job that straddles the Framingham, Wellesley, Wayland, Weston, Dover or Sherborn line is still one job.

FAQ

Questions we get about junk removal in Natick

What does a cleanout cost in Natick?

It depends on what the load weighs, the labor it takes and how hard it is to reach. Single items start at $35, $40 comes off any job above that, and the crew confirms the number before anything is lifted. A finished basement is a small job and a whole house is a bigger one. Nothing is priced by the item, so a bedroom set and the carpet that was under it come to one number, not four.

Do you take things out of a finished basement?

Yes, and it is most of what we do here. A finished basement with one steep bulkhead and a stairwell that turns halfway down is exactly where the sofa bed, the treadmill and twenty years of boxes end up. We measure before we lift and take a piece apart if that is what it needs to come up. Nothing has to be carried to the top of the stairs for us.

Can your truck get down the old lanes in South Natick?

Yes. The houses on those streets have tight interior stairs and trim you cannot replace at a lumberyard, so we take pieces apart rather than force them and we carry from the door. Tell us the street when you book.

What happens to everything you take?

Three ways, and disposal is the last of them. A Natick basement is mostly things somebody could still use, a sofa bed, a bicycle, a bookcase, garden tools, so those go to a donation stop first. Metal, appliances, electronics and cardboard go to recyclers after that. Only what nobody can use or recycle goes for disposal. Tell us while we are loading if something has life left in it and we will keep it separate.

How fast can you get to Natick?

Framingham is Natick's western neighbor and our office is right there, so we come east on Route 9 or across on Route 135. Same-day or next-day is often possible.

How do you quote a job?

Call or text 603-490-2177 with a description or a few photos and we give you a price range on the spot. That phone quote is our best guess, not a binding number. When the crew arrives they look at the job and confirm the exact price before any work starts. Once you approve it, it does not change. For big jobs and full cleanouts we come out for a free on-site estimate, Monday to Friday 9 to 5.

Do you beat other quotes?

Yes. Bring us any written estimate from another company and we beat it by up to 10%. And every week we draw one customer's completed job and refund it in full, so keep your receipt.

Do I need to be home?

Not if we can get to the stuff. Plenty of jobs are booked by phone, hauled while you're at work, and closed out with photos and a card payment. If access is tight or you want to point at things yourself, be there and we'll walk it with you.

When will you actually show up?

You get a two-hour arrival window and a courtesy call about 20 minutes out, so you're not sitting around all day. Most single-item pickups are done inside an hour of the truck arriving.

What won't you take?

Hazardous waste is the short list: wet paint or stain, gasoline and other flammable liquids loose in cans or drums, propane tanks, solvents, acids, antifreeze, motor oil, asbestos and medical waste. A mower, generator or snow blower with fuel or oil still in it is fine: we drain it as part of the job. Fully dried latex paint is fine. Everything else, if two people can lift it and it fits in the truck, we take it.

How do I pay, and how does the $40 off work?

Credit, debit, cash, or estate, certified and business checks. No personal checks. You get an emailed receipt before the truck leaves. Mention the coupon when you book any job and we take $40 off the quoted price, one per job.
