A donatable piano can earn a discount, not a free pickup
We accept piano donations and can help find a piano in genuinely good condition a new home, sometimes with a local family or school. When that works out it comes off your price. It is a discount and not a free pickup, and honestly it is unlikely. Send us a photo with the make and the condition, and we will tell you straight which category yours is in.
We recycle or donate up to 85% of what we haul
In 2025 alone we recycled more than a million pounds of scrap metal and passed thousands of usable items on, much of it to the Epilepsy Foundation, Goodwill, the Salvation Army and local soup kitchens. When a job turns up a meaningful amount of that, it comes off your price, so the sorting works in your favor twice.
Priced on the work, not the air in the truck
Most junk removal companies charge by how much truck space you use. Bricks or feathers, packed tight or full of air, you can pay the same simply because it takes up the same space. We price the actual job: weight, labor, difficulty and access. And our trucks are huge. Three of many competitors' trucks can fit inside one of ours, which means fewer trips to unload, less time spent dumping and lower costs we can pass on to our customers. Your price is approved before anything moves and doesn't change afterward. Plus, we beat any written quote.

Quick and transparent. When you call for your piano removal cost, we ask four things and then give you a range.
Step 1: Get a free quote
Call or text 603-490-2177. We ask what city you are located in, how tall the piano is (3, 4 or 5 feet), what floor it is on and how many stairs are involved. We give you a range based on size, location and accessibility. Typical cost range is $99 to $250.
Step 2: On-site assessment
We confirm the exact price on site before any work begins. The number over the phone is our best guess, the number at your door is the one you approve, and once you approve it, it does not change.
Step 3: A custom plan
We consider the stairs, the doorways, the weight and the condition to plan a safe removal. Depending on the instrument, some of it comes apart before it moves.
Step 4: Swift and secure pickup
Two hour arrival window with a courtesy call 20 minutes ahead. The crew protects your floors, walls and stair rails on the way out, then loads the piano with the proper equipment.
Step 5: Donated or recycled
Pianos in good condition can be donated to local families or schools. The rest are salvaged and recycled wherever possible.

What is the cost of piano removal?
It starts at just $99 and the typical range is $99 to $250. The cost varies with the size and type of piano, what floor it is on, how many stairs are involved and where you are located. We provide a free estimate so you have a clear idea of the expected cost.
My piano still plays. Will you take it for free?
No. A piano in genuinely good shape can bring the number down, because a placeable instrument is worth something to somebody, but that is a discount and not a free pickup, and it is unlikely. The removal is the same work either way.
What types of pianos do you remove?
Upright pianos, grand pianos, baby grands, digital pianos, spinets, cast iron pianos, consoles, broken pianos, old uprights and organs. No matter the type or condition, our team uses specialized equipment for a safe and efficient removal.
Can I schedule a piano removal appointment online?
Yes. You can book your piano removal online or by calling or texting us, whichever is easier.
Can you take other things while you are here?
Yes, and it is cheaper than a second trip. Single items start at $35, so the old bookcase and the boxes in the same room can go on the truck too.
Do I have to move anything to the curb first?
No. You point, we take it. Two or three of us come depending on the size of the job and we do all of the work: out of the basement, down the attic stairs, around the landing, into the truck. You do not lift anything and you do not drag anything outside. We sweep the space broom clean before we leave.
How do you quote a job?
Call or text 603-490-2177 with a description or a few photos and we give you a price range on the spot. That phone quote is our best guess, not a binding number. When the crew arrives they look at the job and confirm the exact price before any work starts. Once you approve it, it does not change. For big jobs and full cleanouts we come out for a free on-site estimate, Monday to Friday 9 to 5.
Do you beat other quotes?
Yes. Bring us any written estimate from another company and we beat it by up to 10%. And every week we draw one customer's completed job and refund it in full, so keep your receipt.
Do I need to be home?
Not if we can get to the stuff. Plenty of jobs are booked by phone, hauled while you're at work, and closed out with photos and a card payment. If access is tight or you want to point at things yourself, be there and we'll walk it with you.
When will you actually show up?
You get a two-hour arrival window and a courtesy call about 20 minutes out, so you're not sitting around all day. Most single-item pickups are done inside an hour of the truck arriving.
What won't you take?
Hazardous waste is the short list: wet paint or stain, gasoline and other flammable liquids loose in cans or drums, propane tanks, solvents, acids, antifreeze, motor oil, asbestos and medical waste. A mower, generator or snow blower with fuel or oil still in it is fine: we drain it as part of the job. Fully dried latex paint is fine. Everything else, if two people can lift it and it fits in the truck, we take it.
How do I pay, and how does the $40 off work?
Credit, debit, cash, or estate, certified and business checks. No personal checks. You get an emailed receipt before the truck leaves. Mention the coupon when you book any job and we take $40 off the quoted price, one per job.
